I listen to that song when I’m feeling down and I don’t see the sunlight at the end of my tunnel. 

There’s an important message in there for everyone. 

What you’re going through right now is NOT permanent.

Things WILL get brighter my friend. 

Keep your head up and your mind clear as you venture into new waters this year.

One speed bump isn’t the end of the world. Neither is two. Or three.

Just know everything you go through now will all be worth it in the end.

I’ve been to hell and back a few times. 

Every time I see my sisters smile, I’m happy. That’s enough for me. As long as I can help take care of my family and sleep well every night, that’s enough for me. 

I will go through it all again for them in a heartbeat because guess what…?

Life gets better. NOTHING is permanent. 

You may be struggling now. That’s okay.

But just know your situation can and will change over time. 

Put in work and it can change A LOT quicker.

Fuck what happened last year. Don’t dwell on that.
